While the posters for the last 8 seasons of UMFF depicted the relationship between mountains and people through lyrical and familiar images of nature, the 9th poster showcases an image of a dynamic and powerful “person” climbing a mountain, in an effort to reflect this year’s festival slogan, “Come up higher, Cinemountain”. The typography, reminiscent of an uphill climb, creates a delightful visual to this poster focused on a mountain. The dynamic illustration of people climbing together emphasizes the camaraderie, sense of achievement, and the spirit of our film festival.
