From the moment she discovered vertical dance, she knew it was her path: suspended by ropes, between mountains, in search of an indefinable emotion. Haize Lerroak documents the dance lines created by Janire Etxabe over four years in the mountains and forests of the Basque Country. With her company Harrobi Dantza Bertikala, she transforms the mountains into stage and inspiration, revealing how vertical dance becomes a language to inhabit the territory and express the memory of the landscape.
