Block 5

After her mother, an environmental activist, passes away, 12-year-old Alma and her father Filip move to a new neighborhood — the home turf of her sworn enemy Luna. When Alma discovers her father's company plans to demolish the playground for a parking lot, she has no choice but to join forces with Luna's skate gang. The team has one week to save the green space, and when their protest fails, they resort to sabotaging the excavators. The battle evolves into a story of unity and forgiveness. 

The first Slovenian film invited to the Locarno Film Festival's Kids programme, it went on to win the KinoKino Award at the Zagreb Film Festival, chosen by a jury of children. It is a youth film that folds weighty questions of community and the environment into a joyful adventure.
