PROGRAM

With the astronomy club ASTRAL of UNIST, explore the autumn night sky observe the moon¡¯s changing phases and the 12 constellations to experience the mysteries of the universe.

Notes
⁃ Open to all age groups (children, teenagers, adults, seniors)
⁃ Please arrive 20 minutes before the program starts to ensure smooth entry and ticket confirmation.
⁃ Depending on weather conditions, observable celestial objects (constellations, planets, etc.) may vary.
⁃ As temperatures drop in the mountains at night, please bring a warm outer layer. 
 
Program
⁃ Use a three-sphere Earth–Moon motion model kit to learn about the moon¡¯s phase changes according to the movements of the sun, earth, and moon
⁃ Make a simple telescope
⁃ Learn about moon phase changes, seasonal changes, and the sun–earth–moon relationships related to the twelve zodiac constellations​​

People who raise their eyes to the night skies. As UNIST¡¯s only astronomy club, we have been active since the establishment of UNIST in 2009. We host annual public observation events open to the public. We also participate in programs at the Dream Campus and youth centers, offering astronomy classes to K-12 students.
