Reinhold Messner presents his first directorial work. Still Alive - The Drama on Mount Kenya is a gripping docudrama that recounts a legendary rescue operation on Mount Kenya in Africa in 1970.

Still Alive - The Drama on Mount Kenya, talks about his new phase of life and presents his first film: an extremely emotional story set in Africa. Two doctors get into mountain trouble and only at the last moment do they manage to save the doomed Dr. Judmaier. Dr. Oelz is pushed to his limits.
