SYNOPSIS
Set in the remote Karakoram Mountains of northern Pakistan, Girls Move Mountains follows Karishma, co-founder of the Gilgit-Baltistan Girls Football League. As she and her sister fight for gender equality through football, they face societal backlash and online harassment. With the wisdom of their Wakhi grandmother and the unity of the teams, the girls push forward, proving that courage, tradition, and dreams can shape a more just future.

Girls Move Mountains inspires and empowers girls worldwide by following Karishma and her sister, leaders of the Women’s Football League in a mountainous region of Pakistan, as they defy social norms and fight for freedom.
