Lin Hsiang and Lin Cheng are brothers whose lives are completed changed by an accident that took place in the mountains. Lin Cheng goes to prison for killing their father, while Lin Hsiang successfully becomes a licensed doctor and serves their village. After seven years in jail, Lin Cheng is finally released. These two brothers must now face the consequences for the crime they committed.
In recent years, while the companies go to the tribal area for development, there must be a lot of contradictions and conflicts. This film is meant to reflect the current conflicts including the struggles in postcolonialism, environment and cultural clashes, in the modern world.

Su Hung-en, received his MFA degree of Radio, Television and Film in Shih Hsin University. He¡¯s born to mixed indigenous Taiwanese parents. Constant switching between these two identities helps him to see this world from different perspectives. His previous short film The Land screened at the 2018 Clermont-Ferrand ISFF.
