In Ilha do Ferro, a small town in Brazil, artists transform branches, roots and trunks found in nature into wooden sculptures that bring to life the imagination of the farmers. Recognized for the talent of its artisans, the community not only stands out for its artistic production, but also for the commitment of its artisans to the preservation of the environment and the reforestation of the region.
The film shows how young people from the interior of Brazil use the region's natural resources to develop ecologically sustainable work that lifts them out of poverty and prevents them from migrating to big cities in search of employment.
