PROGRAM

Small-town youth Do-hyun heads to Seoul with dreams of making it big as a rocker. To make ends meet, he works at the Nagwon Musical Instrument Arcade, where he happens to meet manager Ji-woo. United by their shared passion for music and thirst for the stage, the two set off in pursuit of their dream.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of director Kim Hong-joon¡¯s Jungle Story, the 30th anniversary of YB, and the 10th anniversary of UMFF, the Korean Film Archive and UMFF have collaborated to digitally restore Jungle Story. Following the film's screening, YB will take the stage—an opportunity to once again share in their spirit of passion and fearless pursuit.

Coming to Seoul with the dream of becoming a rocker, Do-hyun gets a job at the Nakwon Music Arcade and begins his musical journey while interacting with senior band members. With the help of manager Ji-woo, he forms a band and devotes himself to practice in a vinyl greenhouse. Eventually, he holds his first concert.
