Park Sung-hee, a coloratura soprano and cultural ambassador of Alba in Piedmont, Italy, promotes Korean culture and arts across Europe, proudly representing Korean identity on the global stage. Known for her clear, pure tone and dazzling technique rooted in the bel canto tradition, she captivates audiences with her artistry.
A granddaughter of the pansori master Lim Bang-ul, she graduated from Ewha Womans University with a degree in vocal music before becoming the first Asian to earn a Corso di Biennio from the National Conservatory of Adria in Italy. Under the guidance of legendary sopranos Mirella Freni and Mariella Devia, she mastered traditional bel canto technique and developed a refined, elegant performance style. She has won numerous international competitions including Vissi d¡¯arte, Cecina Lirica, and Padova, and made her operatic debut as the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute.
Currently signed with the French classical label SKARBO, she actively performs on major opera stages across Europe as a lead soprano in operas, oratorios, and solo concerts. As an ambassador for ChildFund Korea, she also nurtures the dreams of young aspiring artists, fostering mutual growth and helping new artistic legacies blossom through meaningful musical exchange.
