SYNOPSIS

Veranada offers a glimpse into the lives of the Malargüe herders. The film follows Don Arturo, a gaucho traveling the Andes on horseback, seeking greener pastures for his animals. This story is about Don Arturo¡¯s tenacious yet hopeful will to survive amidst a world affected by climate change, severe drought.

NOTE

[Dominique Chaumont, Director]

The film takes place in a community in the Andes mountains. Don Arturo¡¯s way of life as a herder seems still, but droughts "disrupt the climate", as he wanders in search of better grasslands.
