SYNOPSIS

Jyamin, who has just come to Korea, is learning to work as a haenyeo. One day, after hearing another haenyeo's witness of a dolphin in a Korean class, Jyamin wants to see that. Soon-wook, her mother-in-law, is learning Hangul through Jyamin. Soon-wook, who has worked as a haenyeo for a long time, doesn't understand Jyamin's mind, but begins to understand her while learning Hangul.

NOTE

[Kim Ga-young, Director]

I thought that a person in unfamiliar culture yearns for a sense of belonging. And also that learning culture, language and blending into groups was a process of learning new breathing techniques. I want to talk about loneliness, expressing these as a metaphor.
