ASTRAL: Starlight Lab

PROGRAM

Step into ASTRAL: Starlight Lab and become an astronomer for a day! Observe the sun by day and the moon and stars by night through a telescope. From crafting your own constellation chameleon book to glow-in-the-dark constellation tattoo experiences, we invite you to join a special cosmic exploration unfolding beneath the skies of the Yeongnam Alps!

Participations : 20 people per session
Observation Sessions : 11:00 / 13:00 / 15:00 / 17:00 / 19:30, 30 minutes per session
* Sep. 18 (Fri): 17:00 and 19:30 sessions not held
* Sep. 21 (Mon): only 17:00 and 19:30 sessions held
* Sep. 22 (Tue): only 17:00 session held
Notes
- Telescope observation is available on a first-come, first-served basis at the booth.
- Constellation chameleon book making and glow-in-the-dark constellation tattoo experiences are available at any time.
- The celestial objects observable (constellations, planets, etc.) may vary depending on weather conditions.
- The observation experience may be unavailable depending on weather conditions.

People who raise their eyes to the night skies. As UNIST’s only astronomy club, we have been active since the establishment of UNIST in 2009. We host annual public observation events open to the public. We also participate in programs at the Dream Campus and youth centers, offering astronomy classes to K-12 students.
