Mountain VR Experience

VR experience of the Alps (Eiger North Face) and Seoraksan (Nojeokbong)
Soaring above Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland, Mount Eiger (3,970m) is one of the Alps’ most iconic peaks―world-famous for its Eiger North Face(Nordwand), ominously known as the “Wall of Death”. The North Face is a massive vertical wall, approximately 1,800 meters high and 1 kilometer wide. It is notorious for its extreme difficulty and danger due to rockfalls, rapidly changing weather, and steep terrain.
Mount Seoraksan(1,708m), the third highest peak in Korea, is located in Gangwon-do and is renowned for its breathtaking scenery of rugged cliffs and deep vallys.
Among Seoraksan’s many peaks, Nojeokbong(716m) is a favorite rock face among climbers, with numerous climbing routes having been developed.
Experience the immersive sensation of climbing the rock face through VR, and feel the awe of nature alongside the spirit of human challenge!

Notes
- Pregnant women, the elderly, those with heart conditions, or those with a history of epilepsy should exercise caution when participating.
- Those experiencing dizziness or motion sickness should refrain from participating, or consult with a guardian before joining.
- The VR experience may be limited in the event of VR device charging or equipment issues.

National Mountain Museum

Opened in 2012, the National Mountain Museum is a cultural complex established to showcase the mountaineering culture and spirit of the Korean people. It is located at 3054 Misiryeong-ro, Nohak-dong, Sokcho, Gangwon-do.

Its permanent exhibitions feature Korea’s 100 representative mountains, popular trekking courses, the history of Korean mountaineering, safety guidelines, and the science of climbing.

The museum also offers interactive spaces, including an indoor rock-climbing wall and a high-altitude environment experience zone, allowing visitors to physically engage with mountain culture. Nestled against the scenic backdrop of Seoraksan, the museum provides not only rich exhibitions but also the opportunity to enjoy the surrounding natural landscape.
