Kaixo! Basque mountain films are introduced by significant filmmakers and the BBK Mendi Film Bilbao Bizkaia festival director, and International Alliance for Mountain Film president, Jabier Baraiazarra.

Short and featured films, mostly new brand made ones, and an iconic film as Hire Himalaya(2003), will represent the Mendi Film: “A high mountain film festival, at sea level”, placed in the astonishing Bilbao city. The 19th edition of the festival will be held from 4th to 13th of December, 2026.
