SYNOPSIS
A seemingly perfect family’s life is thrown into disarray when a young stranger arrives, exposing their hidden fears, flaws, and dreams, and unraveling the deep-seated dysfunction in their relationships.
NOTE
A satire that gives Pasolini's Teorema a contemporary twist, the film has drawn comparisons to Yorgos Lanthimos, Ruben Östlund, and Bong Joon-ho, and swept seven awards at the Festival of Slovenian Film. Its flawless cinematography, committed performances, and stunning production design are on full display in every meticulously composed frame.

Sonja Prosenc
Sonja Prosenc is a writer-director. The Tree(2014) and History of Love(2018), awarded in the Karlovy Vary Crystal Globe Competition, were Slovenia's official Oscar entries. Her latest film, Family Therapy, premiered in the International Narrative Competition at the Tribeca Film Festival in June 2024.
