SYNOPSIS
The world’s best downhill skiers seem to thrive on mastering situations that others fear. To win, they must push beyond their limits without being brutally thrown off course. Downhill Skiers - Ain't No Mountain Steep Enough is a roadmap-style documentary that follows the charismatic men of alpine ski racing from the World Cup Finals in Saalbach in 2024 to the ultimate highlight: the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach 2025.
NOTE
An emotional journey through a season in the world of downhill skiing, capturing both the spectacular highs and the dramatic lows, on and off the slopes, and behind the scenes of the sport.

DIRECTOR
Gerald Salmina
He was a professional surfer from 1989 to 1994. He films athletes in the great outdoors and remains grateful to capture such extraordinary moments on camera. Since 1996, he has run the film company Planet Watch films with his wife, and his film Manaslu – Mountain of the Soul(2018) won an award at UMFF.
