Screening Program  /   Hello, Trento!

Hello, Trento!

Ciao! We are happy to present these meaningful films with 2 features and 3 shorts.

Border Farmers by Michele Trentini tells in an original way the ¡°resistance¡± on the highlands, a farm carried on with traditional systems and mechanization still ¡°on a human scale.¡± The central theme is the border between Trentino and Alto-Adige that exists politically, but not in the feelings of the people. Rispet, a dialect word used in its two meanings of honor and shame, is for Trentino director Cecilia Bozza Wolf an act of love. These two opposing concepts are the triggering cause of much of the unease experienced in the Alpine valleys. Hers is a different point of view on the mountain, which also shows its shadows.

The three short films that close the focus, Vertically Démodé, MATTERHORN - The Lion Ridge and ¨etta Reddast explore the intimate relationship with the mountain through the experiences of three exceptional names in Italian climbing and mountaineering: Manolo, Hervé Barmasse and Tamara Lunger. Grazie Mille.
