A bright star of the Korean mountain community has fallen. Mountaineer Kim Chang-ho (killed on Nepal In October 2018) was one of the world’s top climbers with still much left to give. Other professionals who have worked alongside him will evaluate the incomparable Kim Chang-ho as a climber, expedition leader, explorer, recorder, historian and critic, and further examine the Korean mountaineering industry as left behind by this outstanding man.

A place to watch Alpinist - Confession of a Cameraman, a remake of the late director Lim Il-jin’s posthumous film Alpinist, and then talk about the life and film of Lim along with director Kim Min-chul, screenwriter and mountain culture writer Sim San, mountaineer Oh Young-hoon, and mountain reporter Kim Young-joo.
